True worship brings us closer to the heart of God, which is why from the creation of mankind He laid it at the very foundation of our life with Him. Once we've grasped the truth that God longs for our worship before anything else, and understand why, we long to give Him what He desires.
Providing culture current music as an expression of our worship is a high priority in Reading Vineyard Church. |

 Sundays are the most visible area where you'd be part of one of our worship bands. Style may vary, as this is inevitably governed by the skills within the band. A typical line up may include guitars, bass, drums, keys and a maximum of 2 vocals. Other instruments may be used for solo / instrumental parts. We currently have three bands operating on a three weekly rota.
We meet at 8.30 and 5.00 every Sunday to assist with set-up and sound check. Practices are weekly and attendance is expected.

Sound Team
If you have a good ear for music, a heart for worship and some technical aptitude, then there are great opportunities to serve here, one Sunday in three (either AM or PM service). Visuals Team
Displaying computer generated lyrics for our worship, and also the opportunity to be creative / artistic in developing / designing presentations etc. You would serve just once a month (either AM or PM service).
