If you've decided that Reading Vineyard Church is the right place for you then the best way to feel at home here is to get involved! Becoming a member of Reading Vineyard is simply becoming involved with us. As in any church there will be those who wish to be somewhat less involved, and we are happy for that to be the case.
We want to be a church where anyone can come, feel welcomed and accepted and find their way in at their own pace. Having said that, we strongly encourage Christians to become members as soon as possible, once they have decided that this is the place for them.
Membership is involvement! If you wish to become a member there are four or five things we ask you to do:

Firstly, attend Sunday services. We have a morning and evening congregation and generally our members opt for one or the other (normally the talk from the morning service is repeated that evening).

Secondly, join a homegroup.

Thirdly, find somewhere to serve.

Fourthly, give a portion of your income regularly.

Fifthly, if you are moving from another church, as opposed to being between churches or un-churched, and it would therefore be noticed if you left, it is very important to us that you go to your leader there and ask them to release you with their blessing.
You may also wish to fill out a connection card, that can be found at the information zone on sundays, or email you details to the church office using the contact us links on the right of this page to enable the church to contact you.
